Piccole Gioie - Laguna Sunset - Pair of stud earrings in burnished gold on glass
Earrings made with a very thin gold leaf placed on a blue transparent glass base and a very thin slide to protect the surface of the leaf and slightly colored to give a warm and coppery sheen, like the sunset light reflected on the lagoon water. Everything is welded by the fire of the oven, at a temperature of 1300 degrees in the historic Orsoni furnace in Venice.
